Atif Aslam to collaborate with Imran Khan?

Believe it or not Atif Aslam and Imran Khan have one thing is common which is, both are:

the MOST LOVED yet MOST HATED Musicians.

Imran Khan and Atif Aslam have succesfuly managed to get their songs in top charts. However, a group of music listeners never endorse their talent and don’t leave any moment to bash them. Anyhow, We are not here to support that group.
As the picture tells half story, the Pakistani Rockstar Atif Aslam was seen with the King of Bhangra Imran Khan. Both were in Dubai, to play for a concert. Just after this meeting Imran Khan tweeted ‘Big up Atif Aslam!!!‘ and uploaded this picture Online.
Rumors have that Khan can’t be so excited just to meet his Pakistani mate in town. Chances are that there is something cooking between the two big stars. Whatever the case may be, they both look hot and stunning with Black shades and even if we don’t get any collaboration song by them. This picture have given us a memorable picture to save.

Atif Aslam will be part of Ranbir Kapoor’s world concert

This will be the first ever world concert of Ranbir Kapoor and he will be touring 16 cities across US and Europe. This event is scheduled for the next year and the event will be produced by Morani brothers.

Rishi Kapoor, the 70 per cent producer of Ranbir’s first world tour said, “Unfortunately Shahid Kapoor can’t accompany us. We’ve got Atif Aslam instead. He’s a huge draw among Asians abroad. The show will be youth-oriented.”
Ranbir’s world tour would have him sharing the stage with five bollywood divas. Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu and Malaika Arora-Khan will be part of the tour where as a fifth girl is yet to be finalized.

Pakistan’s biggest music export after Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the popular yet elusive Atif Aslam takes time out to talk about some of the projects he’s dipped his hands into. Rumour has it that he is acting in a Bollywood film? "I haven’t signed any of the films yet but certainly will do only if they agree to my terms and conditions,” said the crooner, "Shoaib Mansoor called me up for the script for his film and asked whether I was interested. I’m playing a doctor.”Since he is known for his music and without any prior experience in acting, did he take acting lessons before the filming of Shoaib Mansoor’s upcoming film, Bol? "I didn’t take any acting lessons,” laughs Atif, "but I certainly wanted to try it out for a change and Bol has helped me bring out the actor in me on the set of the film.” Atif is also contributing two songs to the soundtrack of the film.
When is he planning to release his next album? "I am busy working with Guns ‘n’ Roses i.e. the project that I am heading here in Pakistan to get all of the musicians on board and come up with a DVD that will be released all over the world especially America… to project a positive image of Pakistan,” responds Atif, "Apart from that I am coming up with an NGO.” Atif has yet to reveal what kind of NGO he will be starting but promised to reveal all in due time.

MUMBAI: The popularity of web music searches is hardly unknown. As 2009 comes to an end, Guruji.com, a popular music search engine released a list for the ‘Top Music Searches of 2009′. So what exactly is it that bollywood music lovers have been searching for?
Rahman’s Dilli 6 remains the top most searched album on the website, while Amit Trivedi’s year opener Emotional Atyachaar takes the top spot on bollywood singles. A.R. Rahman’s toe tapping hit ‘Masakalli’ and ‘Hai Junoon’ from New York. Also in the list are numbers like Dhan Te Nan, Marjani, Sapnon Se Bhare Naina, Tera Hone Laga hoon, Chiggy Wiggy, All Izz Well and Paisa Paisa in descending order.
Guruji.com CEO Anurag Dod says, “We have witnessed a surge in the traffic from across the country for all the latest songs and albums released in 2009 and of course the long tail – of obscure and difficult to find songs. This compilation gives us a holistic picture of the most searched for songs in the year 2009.”
The list has been compiled by taking in account the number of hits received from the metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Indore and Cochin by the Guruji music search users.


As far as the top searched singers of the year goes, Atif Aslam and yesteryear singer Kishore Kumar took the fifth and fourth position respectively, Nausad and Geeta Dutt, the third and second, and interestingly K L Sehgal has captured the prestigious first place in this list. The above top five singers have been tracked quite often for their hits during 2009.
Finally, the Guruji.com Best of 2009 also consists of a list of the most searched for ‘Old favourites’ as a special mention.
